Jan and I had the privilege of traveling to Scotland and Ireland to see the sites of these beautiful countries. Dublin, Edinburgh, Glendalough, and the lush countryside brought delightful experiences. In the village of Gargunnock we visited the church where Jan’s ancestors lived more than 250 years ago. We worshipped with them and speculated how life would have been when these hardy souls were building the chapel where we stood. Connecting to family and their journeys of life is a powerful experience, bringing new perspectives on life today.
